How much space do I need to accommodate a bouncy castle?

This depends on the size of the inflatable you hire but as a general rule you will should allow for an additional 3ft wider and 5ft longer than the size of the inflatable itself. If you intend to have the inflatable set up inside a hall you will need to ensure that the ceiling height is at least 14ft. The ground itself needs to be fairly level and free from any debris, sharp objects and pet poo!!!


How long does it take to set up the inflatable?
On average it takes 20 minutes to set up and make the safety checks.


What happens on the day?
We shall arrive and discuss with you the best position for the inflatable to be set up. All the equipment will be unloaded and we shall set up the inflatable accordingly. All of our inflatables are powered by electric blowers and extension leads which are supplied by us. Safety is paramount and we shall ensure that the inflatable is secure and carry out full safety checks. You will be asked to make payment and sign a “Terms and Conditions of Hire” document.


How do I make payment?
We currently accept payment by cash only upon delivery. We do not require a deposit.


Is there a cancellation fee?
No cancellation fee is charged if the booking is cancelled prior to delivery.


What happens in poor weather conditions?
You are able to use the inflatable during periods of light showers and most of our inflatables come with shower covers. We keep regular checks on current weather conditions and if we feel that there is likely to be heavy rain or extreme wind on the day of your event, we shall contact you before delivery to discuss with you.


Do Boss Leisure have any insurance?
We hold public liability insurance and are members of the BIHA (British Inflatable Hirers Alliance).


How does the castle stay up?
We use electric blowers, which stay on all the time the inflatable is in use, and we can provide up to 20 metres of extension lead.A petrol alternative is available where no electric is available for rental from £45 per day.


How much electric does it use in a day?
Approximately EIGHT pence per HOUR


Is VAT applicable or included to the prices on the site?
A: Being a small business VAT is not applicable and so the prices you see on the website are the prices you pay.


Can you provide supervisors for my event?
Yes we can at an hourly fee


When I hire the castle is there anything I need to provide?
We supply all the hardware you will need for the castle, you will need to provide a 240 volts mains power supply.
